Sign 2000 points ASB Law in the right direction
asb law is a highly successful legal firm with 36 partners and almost 300 legal and support staff providing a range of specialist services to businesses, the public sector and individual clients.
Formed in 1999 as a result of a successful three way merger, asb law offers an unrivalled level of service across Sussex, Surrey, Kent and South London from offices in Brighton, Crawley, Horsham, Croydon and Maidstone.
asb law’s vision is straightforward; to be the leading provider of legal services to both corporate and private clients in the South-East and to be recognized as an alternative provider to City law firms.
As part of their drive to achieve this goal asb recently moved into a modern, purpose built office block in Maidstone, Kent. Sign 2000, the architectural sign manufacturers and installers of Paddock Wood in Kent, was chosen to produce asb’s new Floor Directory boards thanks to a recommendation from the law firm’s design consultancy.
With many members of the public, business representatives and legal staff visiting their offices on a daily basis, it is important that people can find their way around quickly and with the minimum of fuss and bother. The signage also had to reflect the sharp, dynamic and sophisticated nature of the asb operation.
Sign 2000 recommended the Modular Sign System as being appropriate to asb’s requirements – simple, stylish and with an uncluttered design.
Modular Sign Systems from Sign 2000 is an elegant, robust and flexible solution for all internal signing requirements. The system is a simple assembly of strong, lightweight, extruded, interchangeable, aluminium profiles. These profiles are securely held in position by integral dovetails.
Each of the profiles can be independently replaced to change its message.
In total Sign 2000 constructed and assembled five Floor Directory signs for asb law that, according to the firm, has attracted “… lots of positive comments from clients and visitors”, adding that the signs “suit the building and location perfectly.”
The project was completed on time and within budget with even a small hiccup on installation being rectified in time for the launch party.
